Fairy Book Progress

Last fall I made a set of pages for a Fairy Quiet Book.
I also started another page, the first page of the quiet book, last fall, but never finished it.  I'm still not finished with it:
You can't really see it, but the white is sort of glittery.  Anyway, so this page is where you first encounter the little fairy.  She hangs out in that droopy tulip.  You can see her legs, shoes, and a hint of panty...
That's not a stamen.  Piston?  Ugh.  I have no idea about the anatomy of a plant.  You have to lift up the petals to find the fairy...

Why, hello, little undressed fairy!
She's not quite finished, which is why she still has a needle attached to her and half a face.  I'm worried about the facial features.  I have a tendency to be a little heavy handed with the embroidery and I don't want to give her harlot features, like these dolls that I made.

Obviously this little naked sprite needs some clothes.  I haven't made those yet, but I have made her clothesline page:
Those are supposed to be sunflowers and that big brown thing is an acorn.  It opens up:
Her clothes will be stored in the acorn.

Before you go thinking that I'm all brilliant and innovative with these pages, let me give credit where credit is due.  I am basing these two pages on the fairy books of Lindy J Design, primarily this one.  She did fairy wings on each page and I'm thinking of doing that.    We'll see.
